Never seen one of these, but looks like it has a B16? under the bonnet.  THose wheels do it no favors, and it looks like some sort of kit car.  Kinda funky, I dig it...

That has a Triumph TR3 windshield, and a Volvo front subframe, but it is not a 445 chassis, and the engine is set far to the rear of the mounting holes in the subframe. I do not recognize the body shell, good question for Geoff Hacker of forgotten Fiberglass. Volvo 444 rubber nacelles behind front parking lamps, so it might be a B14, or a B16. I wonder if it is a 4 speed? Number tag on the cylinder head hidden by the scarey oil plumbing, but my gut says B14.

That thing is cool.  Not sure what I think it's "worth" but it is cool.

Here's the website of the seller:

Good points, TurnerX19.  Looks like a B14 3 speed, forgot about the B14.  So a B20/M40 would bolt in.  As would front disc brakes.  ;-)

The grille needs something...different, and I'd loose the stickers and wheels.  Hmmm....

I saw that and just assumed it was a kit car, but there really was a 1957 Roadster.  Perhaps the seller channeled it some?

In reply to 914Driver :

The Volvo P1900 roadster was a 445 Duett frame, which the for sale car definitely is not, it would be visible at the subframe mountings. The P1900 was fiberglass, made by the Glaspar folks who made several other cars and boats.
