Well, I know I said I wasn't going to sell this, but plans change. I just don't need it. (Of course as soon as I sell it, I'll NEED it.) I don't need to sell it, but there are some other things that I currently want more. This is a great truck that needs very little to be as perfect as a 200k mile truck can be.
No rust (It did have it in the rear fenders but I welded patches in)
Tons of maintenance done to it
Exhaust manifolds and studs
Warn Locking hubs
Newer shocks from pick-n-pull
265/75R15 Cooper Discoverer AT/3 tires with 12k miles and OEM Alloy wheels, Speedo/Odo adjusted and verified with GPS (will come with stock steelies)
Leaf spring rear shackles
All new tie rods and ball joints in front end (greaseable)
All new u-joints for outer front axles and front drive shaft (greaseable)
Working transfer case shifter (disassembled and lubed - apparently rare for this vintage truck)
Trailer hitch and brake controller (plug at back of truck will need to be replaced due to pin corrosion)
Herculined rockers, bottom of doors, around fenders, top of bed rails. I have before pictures to show rust fix on rear fenders and lack of rust elsewhere.
More that I am forgetting.
Only thing I would say is currently wrong with the truck is there is a driveline vibration above 55 mph and peaks at 75 mph. I have narrowed it down to the rear driveshaft, so either a u-joint or it threw a weight. I will replace u-joints if requested. It has had the issue since I've owned the truck but just recently got a bit worse. It has never let me down in the time I've owned it.
EDIT: VIBRATION FIXED! New U-joints in rear drive shaft. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this truck anywhere now.
