NMNA - a friend of a friend is selling this. I know *nothing* about this car, but I said I'd post it up here, so I am. It's local to me, so I can get eyes on it. This is what sunlight does to black cars that aren't garaged down here.

2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX - $18k OBO

She’s not exactly a looker, but she’s reliable. For almost 14 years—and about 149k miles—I’ve relied on this car to get me where I need to be.

With 179k all in, it still runs great with no issues at all. In the past two years, now that I’m working from home, we’ve traveled only about 4k miles. Prior to that, it was my daily driver for 11 years—so most of her miles are highway ones. It has a clean title and in-hand. And, I can provide a CarFax if needed. I also have many stock parts that will come with the sale if you want them. More info below—happy to answer questions if you have some.

Mods:
• HKS Carbon exhaust
• Megan Racing downpipe
• ETS upper and lower intercooler pipes
• ETS intake
• Mishimoto radiator
• Synchronic BOV
• Tein coilovers (stock height)
• Stage 2 clutch (Installed by dealership)
• AEM wideband gauge
• ProSport boost gauge
• Manual boost controller

The good:
• Only 3 owners; 2 for first 30k miles total and me for the next 149k
• She runs well (no lights)
• New tires
• New brake pads
• New brake rotors
• Oil changed recently

The bad (mostly cosmetics):
• Sun fade on the hood, front bumper, driver A pillar, driver rear door, driver rear panel, back bumper
• Spoiler clear coat peeled off
• Roof trim molding is cracking on driver side (no leaks)
• Driver door weatherstripping is falling off (no leaks, bought a replacement)
• The plastics on the outside of the car are fading (under the wipers and mirrors)
• Some bubbling in the back window tint

This is apparently sold already. That was quick.

In reply to Brett_Murphy (Agent of Chaos) :

Not surprised - any running Evo9 for under 20K seems like a bargain in the current market.

It was bought by a local dealer and is now on a dealer's only auction site for over $21,000

Well, I'm sure they added a lot of value.  They might have even washed it.

Plus they have carrying costs that we can't understand.  Like, they had to pick it up, drive it home, fill it with gas.  Trust me, dealers are there for consumer protection and totally not middle men charging for doing berkeley all.
