And even though it's got miles with svc records and if everything shakes out like the owner says that's a decent price to me at least.

Is a manual really worth 2x the price of an auto, because I've seen auto sell for less than half that with the sport pack, etc.

To me considering what you would have to do to transform that auto to a manual yes.

That's a pretty average price for a manual sport; I just missed one down here by an hour for $4500 but it sold in four hours or so. If he's willing to wait he will find his buyer.

I'd say it's worth it, considering the maintenance he claims. Totally not an iT/sport/manual, but locally an allegedly very-well-maintained 98 528i automatic sedan sold on Facebook in about 3 hours for his $2500 ask a couple days ago. Way too fast for me! The guy probably could have gotten $4500 if he'd had any clue what to ask or where to sell it (he says he got the price from KBB and he advertised it on the regular local FB Swap Shop group). So at this ask, maybe a little negotiation, I see a sale soon. Too bad it won't be me.

Although: "A wheel position sensor just went bad, and I haven't gotten it swapped out yet, so ABS and engine lights are on" should be causing ABS and DSC lights should be on, not the engine light. So there's that.

Sensor is like $60-$80 and just a jiffy to put in.
