"Runs and drives. No title" - of course. The interior doesn't actually look that bad, but I can almost smell it from here...

In reply to Stampie :
A lot of that body is aluminum. The paint may be completely ruined underneath.
In reply to OjaiM5 :
The tire guy that I go to has one that he removed the paint and polished all the aluminum parts on .
I only have a picture where you can barely see the door being started. Next time I am there I will snap a pic.
Wells, eh? I was just up there on Tuesday and saw 2-3 Datsun 510s next to the roadnon rt236. If I go up with a trailer, not sure which would follow me home.

Guy still hasn't responded. FWIW. the SOHC 928 is an easier t belt change than the DOHC
Docwemple said:Anyone contacted this guy and heard back? What is it with FB listers not responding?
I got my $1,600 914 project from one of "those guys". Would not respond for 3 weeks, turns out he was ill and was just getting back to cleaning out mom's garage. Car was solid, stored indoors since 1980 and came with a rebuilt motor and a truckload of spare parts. So sometimes you just need to keep checking with them until they finally respond.
I was just west of Scranton for an Army school many years ago and one Saturday I decided to drive up to Watkins Glenn. There happened to be some kind of Track Day going on so I wondered around checking out the cars and I hear something thundering by on track. It turned out to be a gutted 928, man that thing sounded great.

Wells is about 30 min from me in Portsmouth, NH until the end of Sept if you want someone to put eyes on it.
In reply to Docwemple :
FWiW as someone who just sold a car on FB it could be volume of inquiries. I had ~ 60+ "is this still available" messages in 1.5 days.
I replied to about half before it sold
