clearly, he is trying to drum up interest in his sale....and that sale is not proceeding the way he wants. I base that statement on his having posted three different threads about it.
Yes, the multiple threads are annoying, and I realize that he should have just bumped his orginal thread. (Actually, he should have responded to people in the earlier threads asking for more details about the car and the sale.....it might have been sold by now if he had done so.)
I'm voting no, not a canoe; this is not spam. The thread is posted in the right location, and is being used for the intended purpose of that location. He's just a misguided soul who doesn't know how respond to interested parties when trying to sell his very pretty car.
also, he lost points with me when he asked how to post images and never responded when I explained how. (....and judging from the OP, didn't read my explanation, either.)

I will say that it appears as if Erik has nice stuff.
I will also say that if you Google his item number, he has made the same post on the Lotus, Ferrari, Alfa, Corvette, 914, Fiat, Camaro, MG, Triumph, Opel, VW Vortex, BMW, Samba and Skyroadster forums.
Looks like he's a dealer.
