Wholly cow!  That is a LOT of car for 5 kilobux. And it's a '72 so that 440 wasn't entirely smogged out of relevance yet , either.

Wow, that's....a LOT of green for not a lot of green. That is probably the only survivor left with that color combo, possibly (hopefully?) the only one produced in the first place. Even after  growing up in that era, I don't recalI ever seeing that color interior. It is in fantastic shape, though; I bet you could rent that out to movies or TV shows set in the 70s and it would pay for itself.

Remember 10mpg cars?  We had a '68 Olds 98, 455, 4-barrel.

To get that steel rolling you press that gas peddle really far down.  Hence, 10mpg.

According to what I could find, the horsepower had already been dropped to 225 SAE for the '72, and the car weighed a svelte 4400 lbs.

In reply to dettonator20 :

I'm sure some heads, cams, intake, and a carb could fix that.

I need to talk one of my friends in MSP to buy that thing. There is a whole lot of awesome happening there.

I would be all over that if I didn't just buy a car even bigger than that one last week.

Nice. My main complaint would be the lack of factory A/C.  In a car like that, I'd want A/C.  I think it's rather odd it doesn't have it.

Man that's a lot of black, and a LOT of green.  Not a combination I would have put together but it works.

I am so increasingly attracted to old boats (well, moreso station wagons) as a tow pig replacement for the Expedition. Its kinda funny the amount of fuel economy hit it would be to go from the monster SUV to a older car though. (recently got 19mpg out of the expedition!)

I did not see that interior color coming.

Fuselage styling! Odd seeing the green interior in a car without green paint.
You often see the  interior in the late 60s/early 70s Mopars in REALLY good shape (like this one.) More so than Ford/Chevys.  Wonder what they did differently?
