Those R1150RTs are great bikes. There's a low mileage one for sale locally to me for cheap, same color as the above pic. I'm really tempted, but I don't put enough miles on the bike I have now...

Almost traded my BMW F650 for that... but long ways away. And the the boat trade did happen after all. I have no other trades for him. BUT am HARD CORE looking to trade some projects for a bike. I have a K75S came from the factory exactly like that one... prolly only a parts bike now

I REALLY want that K1100RS. Only BMW I like better than the 75. I have not ridden one yet, so I don't know if the extra power is worth the less smooooooth-ness!

Pichler is the aftermarket fairing and glass pieces.
Top shelf stuff, at least back in the day.
I'm not a fan of the paint either, but looking at those bikes stirs something deep inside.
Cooter has a great eye... I do recognize the smoother lines, now that ya mention it. That's worth being seen with that paint!
Thanks Panther. I've had a K-100rs, an R-1150rt and a K-1200LT, R-90 is my favorite. (but would buy another K-100 in a heartbeat)

Had a first year K100. Good bike, but did not like ethanol laced fuel.
We have 91 Ethanol free stuff here.

My 88 K75 did stop at non ethanol pumps as much as it could, (for MANY reasons!) but I think it would have burned piss-water if it needed to!

After getting a K75S, and finding out I'm to old for a small faring like that, I finally was able to contact the guy with the ... um ... interesting ... er ... paint, K75C. If I can sell my "new" 87 S, I want to buy that one and mix and match with my "old" 88 nekkid S. So I dropped my price on the nice K to 2500. See my ad on here. Thanks.
