After seeing the build thread on the Lemons Opel I can't deny this is tempting.

Never seen one before.  Kind of reminds me of a Ford Maverick.  How does it compare size wise?

In the 70's Buick dealers used to sell Opels like the cool Opel GT and the Opel Kadett.  These Opels where of German origin and GM owned Opel.  Following up on this, GM decided to offer a different "import" through the Buick dealerships.  These too were called Opels but these were actually rebadged Isuzu Geminis from Japan.  

As for size, these were RWD and most akin size-wise to a Chevy Chevette which was also RWD.

These were the Opel Kadett C platform which is the same as the Chevette.
