Rebuilt 1990 Miata, 1993 Miata parts car

Sold*****(traded for a Saab 9-3).

Selling the Miata that I bought from IAAI. It was rear ended. It is a 1990. 

Asking $1,500

Pro's

-Borla Exhaust

-Unknown brand, wrapped header

-Koni Shocks

-H&R springs

-Drilled and slotted rotors

-Top in good shape

-Runs and drives good (I have only driven it about 3 times)

-Procar seats

Con's

-Some Rocker rust

-Still a small dent in rear from wreck

-No Finish panel

-Seats bolted directly to floor (PO drilled multiple holes)

-AC delete 

-Depowered Steering rack

-Still some red paint marker left on rear window on top (from salvage auction)

-Hood Pins

-Trunk alignment is not 100%, looks good from outside but had to space out latch

- Replacement bumper is faded and has a crack in it that I zip tied. 

-Radio may or may not be working

-Toggle switch for radiator fans.

Misc-PO said that the car only had 112k on it, but he switched the cluster after the wreck because he had a custom one in it that he was going to put in his new car. So now reads around 180k, I had contacted him through face book before I bought the car at auction.

It is inspected and road legal with a rebuilt title.

This is my parts car, runs and drives, not sure how well I just took it around the block. 

Rebuilt salvage title

Welded rear end. 

Lots of rust

clutch maybe starting to slip. 

Led headlights 

i used some parts from the seatbelts for the other car. 

Where in Ohio are you? If the parts car shell is salvageable I might be your guy.

The drivetrain is why I want it too, sorry.

If either of you end up with it and "drivetrain" means left over subframes I will totally buy them off you.  And maybe the LED lights because they would look sweet on the Challenge car project.   If you both can't make it work I would like to get in line.

I'm buying it and I've got a spare rear subframe. Thing is, it's hard to tell how crusty this subframe is in pictures. I'll have a better idea this weekend and if it's OK I'll sell you the spare I have. The LED lights I'll definitely sell you.

I suppose this is assuming Robbie wanted the engine, trans and diff - not the subframe so as not to skip him. 

Hahaha no worries all. I was interested in a challenge budget friendly engine/trans/ECU/harness/radiator. No need for diff or subframes, but I was planning on having the extra etc stuff like brackets and connectors and hoses.

Another cheap Miata will come up, I'm not worried.

I don't actually need the subframes or A-arms.  Just looking for uprights, ball joints, brakes, and possibly steering rack.  

We will get in touch let me know after you pick it up and assed it's condition.
