My Mom had a heart attack and stroke this morning.
So I have to cut back pretty severely on the number of projects.

Still located in Yerington NV near Reno.

Despite having a running engine and fresh rebuilt Dellorto's I just cannot seem to complete the 78 Alfa Romeo Spider bodywork. I have all the patch panels.
Has a title, open to reasonable offer, good floors, too good to part out.
Oh, and a removable aftermarket hard top.

One titled RUST FREE and strait TR6 project that a former owner began to make into a race car.
Unfired Rebuilt engine with ported head, but has been sitting.
I do not know what else was done to the engine internally.
I have a triple Weber intake for it, no carbs.
I have all the parts to restore this one to original.
I also have two complete stock drive-trains, a strait roller chassis, and a bent at the front roller chassis.
Some additional extras as well.
Prefer to sell all TR6 stuff as one lot, get a group buy together if you like.
To be clear, there is only ONE TR6 body.
I was going to put Dio Tipo bodies on the extra chassis.
Would like $10K for everything but can break it up, make serious offers.

Spridgets, some have titles, some do not.
One 1275 and rib-case car with title, engine is stuck.
Also a '75 RB car less engine but never hit.
Tons of parts too.

'78 Midget with 1275 that turns over is a maybe sale.
Depends on if Mom will be able to drive after release from the hospital.
This is the car I was putting together for her.
Has four new tires.

Spitfire 1500 is a bit of a project but very rust-free with title.
Drove it home after purchase.
Has a factory hard top that needs restoration.
Plan was to rebuild an engine for it, I have two that run as they are but should be freshened.
Single 40 DCOE intake, headers.
Have more than one trans, one is an OD trans.
NOT parting out.

Tatum two-place "Crusader" molds and trick drive-train parts.
G13B 1.3 twin-cam engine and Porsche 901 transmission.
The 1.3 is lighter than a VW engine, makes twice the power, and carries an extra 2,000 RPM.
The 901 trans can be reversed and is a five speed. The 1.3 will not strain it.
This one is hard to sell, not going cheap and not parting out.
I actually own the production rights to these bodies as I bought them from Chuck Tatum.
Chuck only built two of these before the '74 oil embargo.

Message for pics, too much to post here.
Look at my Garage for pics of some of these.

Please limit the snide comments, I'm not in the mood for them.

I'm so sorry about your mother. I'm not in a place to take on another project but I wish you the best of luck.

Wishing well for your mom.  If we can figure out shipping on that fiberglass nose maybe that'll help you out.

The fiberglass nose is bugeye right? I'm not here to snipe, but ffs Mini Mania is being a little Dickinson about my glass square nose order.

Not Bugeye copy, I think it is an old Kellison.
More Ferrari Monza style.
Been cut to fit over a V8.

Sorry to hear about your mother. I have been there.

Does the Crusader body bolt on to a shortened VW chassis or does it have a separate frame like a wider Formula Vee?That would make one heck of an autocross car.

Tatum uses a simple space-frame like a Locost.
The design is pretty much a wide-body FV.
The G13B engine and Porsche 914 (Type 901) trans should give it a pretty amazing performance upgrade.
I have the engine computer too.
Even with a 1.0 3-Cyl performance would probably exceed the old 40 HP Bug engines.
My intent has been DD and Hill-Climb.

Can be built several ways.
Modify the front fenders for a Locost look, or delete the fenders for a 2-place FV look.

Just got Mom home.

She got away with little lasting effect but now on Oxygen all the time and using a walker.
Not sure if she will be able to still drive stick.

Great news that your Mom is home. My sister had a stroke in January and other than her voice being a little quieter you can't tell if you didn't know. She worked really hard in rehab, probably too hard.

Update/bump inspired by recent reminder of mortality.

TR6 will get the complete drivetrain from the wrecked 70 I sold.
Keeping the "Race" engine for a Dio Tipo build.
This is a completely rust-free car with title.
I sold just a damaged but rust free tub and bent frame for $1,500 to a guy out east.
He saved thousands in rust repair expense.
I will let the project TR6, including all the original parts I pulled from the wrecked car and spares go for $4K if someone acts quickly.
Otherwise I will get the engine running, pull the body for top and bottom no-rust pics, and raise the price to at least the $5K it should be.
You may say this is high, but no rust saves a LOT of time and money.

Rubber bumper 75 Midget has been cleaned up and I found the TITLE for it.
Since being cleaned I have been able to confirm that it is rust free, NO rot and never hit.
If this is not worth a measly $400.00 as a roller I may as well just crush them all.

Sold a couple, still have a few others, including a Mk. II Sprite tub (No title) and a 68 Sprite tub WITH title. The 71 Round Wheel Arch wire wheel car is still here, no title.

Just as happy to not sell the Tatum project as I have so much time and $$ invested in it obtaining the hard to get trick parts.

Spitfire is so much easier to work on than most cars I am not that anxious to sell it but might for the right offer.

Time for an update-bump.
Currently concentrating on my Europa which I will never sell until I am in a wheelchair. Europa needs more funding.

Despite having a running engine and fresh rebuilt Dellorto's I just cannot seem to complete the 78 Alfa Romeo Spider bodywork.
I have all the patch panels.
Has a title, open to reasonable offer, good floors, too good a car to part out.
Oh, and a removable aftermarket hard top.

One titled RUST FREE and strait TR6 project. SOLD

Spridgets, some have titles, some do not.
One 1275 and rib-case car with title, SOLD.
Also a '75 RB car less engine but never hit, SOLD.
Tons of parts too, bring me $500 and take them ALL including a roller wire wheel round rear wheel arch car.
Too much to list, really, but call if you need more detail.

'78 Midget with 1275, SOLD.

Spitfire 1500 is a bit of a project but very rust-free with title.
Drove it home after purchase.
Has a factory hard top that needs restoration.
Plan was to rebuild an engine for it, I have two that run as they are but should be freshened.
Single 40 DCOE intake, headers.
Have more than one trans, OD trans can be added depending on the offer.
NOT parting out.

Tatum two-place "Crusader", decided I have too many hard to get parts and dollars into it, so have to finish it.

Locost 442 with Kent 1600M and Webers, 4-speed, was a roller when it still had a Mazzzzda engine in it. Still lots of build to do. Might sell for the right offer.

Mom is doing well except for having bouts of losing most of her voice and still on oxygen.

Glad to hear your mom is home. My 83 year old mom isn't as bad but we're having a lot of fun, NOT, navigating the medical industry with her condition and upcoming surgery. Anyway, the Alfa would probanly sell quickly on the AlfaBB.

You'll need to log in to post.
