WTB: E30/E36/Old BMW Projects

Looking for E30s, M model E36s, E21, etc. Let me know what you have! Looking for rollers, non-runners, or slightly wrecked. Location does not matter.

We have an E30 (325e, 4-door, 5-speed) siting at my friend's property in Santa Margarita, CA. Ran when parked about three years ago. Rat has since moved in. I think it would sell for $1k. Seems crazy, but this stuff is going up in value. I can get pictures next time I'm up there if you're interested.

I don't care who wants it, but I do think a simple transaction would be beneficial. I don't think this car is worth shipping across country.  It lived in Morro Bay (near the ocean). Not rusty but for one spot in the roof where the paint wore through. I'll check on it and circle back here with photos.

OK, here are some pictures of my team mates E30. He bought it, initially, as a commuter. Then, he started working remotely and decided to turn it into a race car. Finally he realized he has too many projects--993, E36, E24, 914, significant other...you get the picture.

1985 325e, 5-speed, 4-door. Not mine, but close affiliation. Car is in Santa Margarita, CA. The car is rough with a bit of rust. It’s been parked outside a couple years and will need a good cleaning and check of the fuel system before starting it. It ran when I parked it. The engine and drivetrain worked fine but the injection system didn’t idle well. Will probably need to fix that before the car is smogged. The car will be sold as a parts car without a smog certificate.

OK, this E30 is going to some schmoe on CL. Bums me out a little... Thought we'd find a good home for it here.
