This morning, we started from the Kentucky Dam recreation area near Paducah and headed back toward Louisville. That meant more back roads, great driving and great food. We stopped at the legendary Moonlight Barbecue for lunch and then got back to our starting point in Louisville at around 6 p.m. After 1000 miles, we safely and happily loaded our Tiger back on the trailer.

Had we known it was going to drive that nicely, be that reliable and offer that much comfort, we would have just driven it to and from our home base in Florida; another 1500-mile round trip in this car would have been a lot of fun. That said, we've accumulated a list of things to be adjusted and sorted, and we will cover some of this here and in upcoming issues of Classic Motorsports.

Next time you're in the area, set aside a few days to drive US-421 North of Frankfort to Madison Indiana and the Frankfort to Lexington Highway from US 60 just east of Frankfort to Lexington. Of course at least one day should be spent driving on all the horse farm roads all around Lexington.
