The BMW 2002 Turbo is a rare bird with only 1672 units built. Making this one even more special is the fact that it was once owned by Bobby Rahal.
It’s now being offered through BMW restoration house The Werk Shop for $189,500. No. 1 prices on these are knocking on the door to $200,000.
Looks pretty but if restored to the same level as they did to my car plan on spending plenty of dollars to fix their work. This car (Rahal’s 2002) was finished and in their shop the day I brought mine in for restoration 10 years ago. My experience with The Werk Shop was very disappointing. Buyer beware. These guys are not what they appear.
