67 in some ways is the most desirable year for collectors who actually drive their bugs. Lots of one year cosmetic parts on the 67 as well that are super cool.

Back in college my roommate had a 1967 Bug. It was almond in color and totally stock. It wasn't really fast enough for the highway, though, so it was eventually replaced with a slightly hopped-up '70. And then eventually he got a "real" car. That '67 was the one that got away, though.
