Great Ride!! It's always thrilling to see those who left the motor the car came with in the car! Otherwise, you just have another boring hot rod!

Long overdue update. My dad has pulled the original motor/trans to preserve them and is in the processing of installing a new PACE Performance GM crate motor. His goal for the car is to make a comfortable road tripper and spend his retirement cruising the country with my mom. The crate engine is a low compression pump gas engine. Rated at 260/350. Going to be an awesome cruiser.
He has also installed seat belts, all new suspension, sway bars, new wheels and tires. Replaced all of the glass with factory GM 'tinted' glass (big job!) replaced every single window and door seal and a bunch more I am sure I am forgetting.
A couple pics!

No concerns actually, he wants to preserve the low mileage on the original stuff since he is going to road trip a lot in the car.
Yes wheels were changed to rallys.
Thought I would give an update since its been a few years. Dad still has the car and has done a TON of work to it. It is now rocking a FitTech fuel injected SBC with a 700R4 trans. He has added so much stuff I can barely remember it all, but long story short the car looks basically original but drives like a brand new vehicle. He drove it from FL up to MI this summer with no issues cruising comfortably on the highway at 75 the whole way :)
