Project Mercedes: Insuring and plating an old car

We added insurance and a real license plate to our fintail Benz. It was way, way cheap.

On a related note, I'm still surprised how many classic car owners don't have classic car insurance. I have it on three cars, and I'm amazed at the great deal: awesome rates and awesome coverage.

Okay, there's a few caveats, though: have to store the car in a locked garage and must have a "real" daily driver. Still, it's worth checking out.

It's a no brainer! Who doesn't have a daily driver, and I think most have a garage. The rates are so reasonable, and you can still enjoy your car, so if you haven't checked it out you should.
