Our racing season is going well. After wins at Hallett and at the Mitty, it was on to VIR for the Gold Cup June 9-11.

After some testing and sorting with our newly revalved and now externally adjustable front Koni shocks, we got the TR3 dialed in and on Saturday's qualifying session ran a 2:27 which is a second faster than we have ever run, despite being down 20 horsepower from our peak in 2004.

We managed a second place finish on Saturday and then during Sunday morning's warm-up we heard rear-end noises. That noise turned out to be a tooth missing from the pinion gear, so we were done for the weekend. We will take a couple of months off and hit the tracks again this fall with a new ring and pinion and some new J&E pistons.
