While not officially a project, our 1969 Triumph TR6 has recently seen a major improvement: a freshly rebuilt engine. Jere Dotten handled the build in our shop, while JK Jackson built us a head with a bit of porting and decking to raise compression. We went with a GoodParts street cam and kept the powerplant mild for excellent drivability.

We ran in the engine for 500 miles below 3000 rpm to seat the rings. Then the TR6 hit the track at the VTR National meet. We're very pleased how this car came out. We'll be writing about it here and there, although we're afraid of giving our readers an overdose of Triumph editorial right now.
