On a recent trip to the Raleigh/Durham area we couldn’t resist a visit to Flying Circus English Cars, Ltd. This place—with its magnificent A-frame shaped showroom—is a like a visit to an English car museum.
We saw Minis, Triumphs, MGs, Jaguars, a Lotus Elan and even a Vauxhall …
That would be a fun place to visit next time I make it's up to the Raleigh/Durham area.
That chassis up on the hoist looks like it has a more modern engine. Miata? Hmmmm...

Good eye ;-) The chassis in the photo is indeed miata powered. One of our favorite customers hand builds beautiful cars reminiscent of the early 50's Morgans. Each one is powered differently. This one was in our shop to have some rear hub work. -Sarah Briggs,
