I wouldn't mind finding a Miata or something else appropriate to keep from completely atrophying my autocross skills while getting to the 2002... There's a VW Fastback somewhere in my future, but I'm not looking for that 'til the 2002's approaching done.

In the immediate term, I am looking for a clean Porsche 944 to use as a (mostly) dedicated AutoX and HPDE car. Something fun but cheap enough I won't be devastated if it hits something solid at an event.
Longer term, I'm keeping my eyes open for a Healey Elliott in driver condition. Obviously, I'm not holding my breath on this one.
I'm now looking for a 05-06 Rolla XRS or a 01-02 GS430 for a DD.
Formula vee car/parts......and 02-05 Honda Civic Si parts ect......
Maybe not so far from a P1800 a pipe dream, bmw z3 coupe.
Why cant I find a nice 2.0 Capri or a Capri II "S" type (JPS in Europe)? Have they all rusted away??? . . . Also, want a rust-free Mangusta (4 headlight) and an Historic Trans Am race car.
I love the aluminum dash of the pre HE cars.
