Hey:

I'm looking through current Appendix A and I can't find a listing for M3s later than 2013 in Street Touring category.

Does it fall in the STU catch-all for "Sedans & Coupes NOC (non-sports-car-based; 4-seat min.; over 5.1L normally aspirated or 2.5L to 3.1L forced induction)"?

It seems odd that it's not specifically mentioned.  Thanks.

IIRC, they fall in the STU catch-all but that's only valid for regional (not national-level) events. Only explicitly listed vehicles are eligible at national events in the ST* categories. The F80/82 cars are part of the proposed SST class that's out for member comment at the moment (see the April Fastrack for details).

I feel like calling the M3 not a "sports car" is a hard sell...but that's the SCCA and their vague definitions of critical terms for you. Realistically running it locally STU is probably fine as long as you're not demolishing the rest of the class.
