13 hours of "managing" a race has got to be much more stressful than being on the same lap with a competitor, either following or leading. I can see the ulcers forming from here.
I've been the crew chief on a winning 25 hour endurance team. I'd rather have an 8 lap lead on a much slower car and just manage my own machine 
Now that all the LMP1 shenanigans are over, it's time to focus on the other cars. If a couple of GT cars get into a 3 am fistfight, I'm sure we'll hear a bunch more about them.

Keith I get the feeling I have met you. Ever race at summit point or at Nelson ledges. We did many many endurance races at those tracks.

It's an amazing world we live in. Do the GT cars hit 200mph, does anyone know? Not trying to be pedantic, just curious.

When that Ferrari got punted earlier I believe they said he was doing 190+. I imagine they are maybe just tickling 200 prior to braking for the chicanes on the Mulsanne.

Nope, I've never raced out east. I was supposed to be running an enduro team that was going all over the US this year, but the roll cage guys missed their dates by months and months and it only just got out. I've done the 25 hours of Thunderhill a few times, both as crew chief and mechanic.
The fact that the baby class is running that fast is amazing.
So it appears that nobody has noticed that all of the P2 cars are "car-maker"/Gibson.
Gibson supplied a 4.2l v8 that is spec to all of the cars.
Gibson is the engine maker formerly known as Zytec.
So, basically, P2 is halfway between the old P2 and PC. Good thing they are fast.
we are in one of the ages that nobody wants to race a prototype car at LeMans. When was the last time IMSA has a more rich prototype field than LeMans?
