After 4-5 months of searching, I found my 2JZ. flying to West Palm Beach next Saturday, and driving 8 hours home to Atlanta.

The car is a 2002 Lexus 300GS, with 110k. 2 owners, spent half of its life in Memphis, and the rest in Florida. He's putting new tires on it next week. I'm paying him 3900. I wanted a well maintained, low mileage GS. every oil change has been at the dealership.

The plan is to ride the coast up 95, and cross over at savannah. an extra 40 minutes longer. the downside of this is driving across I-16 when Im tired and ready to be out of the car. I'm not convinced this is the greatest plan.

If I could talk my wife into an older car this would be the one, nice find.

My wife’s last car was a 1998 gs300. It was such a nice, nice car. Well balanced, eager, decently powerful but not overpowered. Hers was a one owner that had about 160k and had been bumped a couple times but well maintained. Got it cheap and barely had to do anything but put a decent number of miles on it. If you fit the long arm short leg seating position, you’ll love it.
