Actor Paul Walker, best known for his role as undercover cop Brian O'Conner in the popular "Fast & Furious" movies, died in a car accident in Southern California Saturday. He was 40 years old.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said that two people were killed in the crash, which occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. local time in Santa Clarita, Calif. A statement on the accident from the department said that deputies found the car engulfed in flames when they arrived at the scene. . . . http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2013/12/01/fast-and-furious-actor-paul-walker-dies-in-car-crash/

Porsche has been bit hard before by litigation about one of their high-performance cars. Does anyone else remember the story behind why the 911 turbo was pulled from the U.S. market after 1979?

Thanks, we have another thread on it. (Don't worry about the double post....it is good to know about these things.) The other thread has three pages of comments, with kind words, thoughts about keeping it on the street, and the revelation that a GRMer has driven the car that was destroyed in the accident.
