Well at least I know I can get it in 315s for my front wheels! Jokes aside, sounds exciting.
First exercise for my group was a down and back slalom with a pin turn...and a timer running.
Ran one car with TA Pro and the other with RE71RS. Massive slip angle difference. TA Pro has the smallest slip angles I've ever experienced in a street tire. Takes some getting used to. RE71RS more natural.
Second session was high speed lead follow on the track just in the TA Pro. Super consistent even in high 80-degree ambients. Massive braking grip, very natural breakaway.
Oh yeah, we're driving BMW M4's.
Next up, M4GT4

Yes. And that's the big elephant in the room as fast as SCCA competition in autocross and TT.

they won't be 200tw legal in most if not all racing bodies.
Ah... makes sense now... does seem odd Hoosier would do that.
Does seem odd to come out with a tire that can't be used in the US for its intended purposes. I would think that the US woulds be one of their major markets.
In my case though, I don't track so I can't wait to try them as a summer street tire on my 718 GT4 in California

Is the British accent real or is that just a bit he does for YouTube?
NASA ST/TT doesn't care (you can run R7s), but the question is what kind of power/weight modifier do they get? That will depend on how the performance seems to compare with the other 1.0 and 1.6 tires currently in the lists.
I know it's premature to ask based on the limited running you got, but any thoughts on how they feel compared to R7s?

Real. He's from the UK. Recently moved to the US cuz of a girlfriend.
They seem like they are also not targeting the endurance 200 market either, especially with the spider graph comparison they have with the also Hoosier made Conti ECF.
GT4 hot laps were sensory overload. Especially getting used to the non-boosted brakes which required massive pedal pressure.
But the TA Pro was just as at home on a real race car as in a street-based sedan.
Here's Tire Rack head of testing TJ Campbell all suited up.
