Driving the newly repaired Miata today and I have two lights.  A CEL for IAC allowing a higher than expected idle RPM, cleared that and it should be fine.  (Remember this car sat for 18 months and has a transplanted engine, things need to be exercised a bit).

But while driving it started to flash the airbag light at me “slow slow fast fast fast”.  According to the googles that should be a low voltage error.  My OBD scanner reads 13.4 volts running.  Should I be concerned?  New battery but old alternator.

13.4 is a bit low.

So should I be concerned?

Is there any adjustment to be made or is it just a failing alternator?

Send it?

I have proven that an NB Miata will run for two hours and 100 miles on just the battery.

Got me home from an autocross on the other side of the state last month.
