I'm thinking about getting an Eastwood plasma cutter, specifically this one:

https://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-versa-cut-40-amp-plasma-cutter.html

I've wanted one for a long time, but I've never even used one. No real need to own one, strictly hobbyist level use expected. I will be using it on 110v, but it's nice to have the option to use it at 220 as well. I don't expect to need to cut any super thick stuff.

Anybody have one of these?

I have one.  Works well.  I dont use it often...maybe a dozen or so times in 7 years

Here's a plasma cutter thread from a few weeks back:

Apparently the very cheap "CUT-50" units available everywhere are perfectly viable for hobbyist home shop use.

I have the Versa Cut 60 from Eastwood and it's worked great every time I've used it.  Since I got a porta-band setup on my bench, I don't use the plasma all that often.
