If I did, I would buy this.

My comments are the same as Richard Pryor's about the Jag in Silver Streak.

Jeez--I was going to say that the design has held up pretty nicely over 23 years. Still looks great to me.

I like everything about that car. Anyone who disagrees is wrong. /thread

I've always wondered why they haven't revisited that tail in some of the newer GT versions.

Mmm, tasty. I agree with asterisk, that tail treatment would look awesome on the 998.

I thought they were ugly then too. I know that in theory it's all functional, but the 959 has always looked to me like someone threw an Erbuni catalog at a 911, and then topped it off with NTB wheels.

Where I live that kind of money would either get you about 4,000 sq ft and a 3.5 car garage, over looking a golf course

or
2,800 sq ft with it's own 60 ft dock out the back door.

I love the fact they are advertising odometer fraud and getting away with it.

Its not odometer fraud if its documented and disclosed. There are proper channels for the swapping of an odometer otherwise any time one broke you'd have to scrap the car or commit fraud.

May be. But when you think about it, what Mr. Pryor talks about in the referenced movie looks kind of strange too and we still all want that!

No kidding. Anyone who owns a Smiths (LBC or old Volvo) equipped car likely has a spare speedometer (or two) around to swap in for the eventual broken one.

$463K... Wow... I've always liked the 959... but... wow... I've got a few other cars on my lottery list ahead of one. Not fond of red on a Porsche either.
