Order four shocks. Fronts are back ordered. Was told, by tire rack, that they were told by Koni "2-3 weeks". That was a month ago. Called tire rack, "we don't know when they will be in stock again, sir."

shake trees, rattle cages, or sit my ass in the sand. Which would you do?

Koni is having trouble with their supply chain. Bitching will not help.

Maybe you look for alternative sources that have their own stock and don't ship out of someone else's warehouse. It may cost an extra couple of bucks.

In reply to Keith Tanner :

I just want an ETA. I can wait. That's not a problem. But I've had issues in the past where I bought parts, back ordered, and six months later find out the part has been discontinued. Eff me.

They were not a sponsor of mine but I did have a set of their shocks on one of my HPDE cars. Let me make a call.

Sorry, that didn't come across right.

Shipping is jacked up all over the place right now. Koni NA probably has no idea when the container of shocks will arrive, because even once a container hits the US it's often left to sit for a couple of weeks. And then there's domestic shipping which is also a bit rough.

If you can find a specialist or someone who stocks shocks (like we do), you may be able to get your shocks sooner.

Having the same problem with the suburban shocks. Ordered on 9/2 and no word. Bugged the company who advertised and sold them several times in every way but text. Who knew their pandemic plan was to ignore emails or calls and only pay attention to text? After texting they gave me a near future ship date. I can't decide whether to cancel and go with Jeggs who only just now offered them for sale when they knew they can be shipped, or to stick with a company that obviously sold something they had no idea when they could deliver. I don't trust the company to cancel based on texts and they are not inspiring confidence about refunds, but I hate giving money to poor customer service.

There are a lot of aftermarket companies that just have a Motovicity (now Turn 14) account and have commodity parts drop-shipped from someone else's warehouse. This means they have no idea when anything will ship or what stock levels look like.

I would just call around to other vendors to see if they have any in stock. I've had this issue during the pandemic and calling around ended up working well. I don't think Koni works in this capacity; but, I called Hondata directly and got a part I needed from them, even got to pick it up from their shop here in SoCal.

I ordered some back at the beginning of June. I just cancelled them a few weeks ago after being told 2 more weeks for the 5th time.
