At Motorama and their booth is here. The drill bits show nice, but I'm always wary of show demos. Anyone have personal experience?

Never even heard of them. My go to bits are Cle Line, CTD, or Norseman. My favorite beater bits are DeWalt black oxide which are suprisingly damn good for the 10 bucks with nice clamshell case

If they are the multi purpose drill bits they are ok but not great at anything. Fine for a homeowner who drills random materials occasionally but if you use them often you are better off with quality sets of hss drills and masonry as needed.

I suggest these if you are using them often.  The YG1 drills hold up fantastic.  I use them daily in the shop.  mostly drilling stainless.

Well... I did buy a set. Probably not my best move, but we'll see. After I was checking them out at home I noticed that they say they are more aimed towards hardened steel, and not really recommended for mild steel. Kinda wish I had noticed that before, but I guess what's done is done.
