Hi Folks,

we continue to have issues with the seals on the rear calipers of our S197 Mustang.  They are sensitive to heat, and seem to blow out.  Likely because they are remans . . .

It doesn't look difficult to change the seals.  Does anyone know of a source for ones that are perhaps better quality?  I don't really know what I'm asking about -- maybe silicone?

Can't help with parts but brake parts should be EPDM.

What year?  There were issues with cobra factory calipers to the point my local club allowed replacement with aftermarket ones.

Does Ford sell caliper kits?

In reply to dean1484 :

It's a 2011 -- the rear calipers for V6 and GTs are the same.
