Seems legit. It's a used 9c1 after all. How much does an leo hemi go for these days?

I though $9k was WAY too much for a 9C1 but then I clicked the add and realized it was a new Caprice. Now that same $9k seems like a good deal.

There were 2 at a local huge quantity dealer for 8k each. They were black and white but plenty cheap for me to think it was cool

Hemi are similar in price for PPVs and the Caprice PP are around that price but less of them available. You can find them both for 8500-10000 with less miles.

Yep, you can get Chargers with the V8 for 5-7 100K all day long. The Caprice is unique, but not worth it with those miles

The Caprice PPV is essentially a Chevy SS with a slightly detuned motor and fewer electronic gizmos. Total sleeper, especially with the old-gen Impala taillights that they put on them.

Do you have a source for the $5k-7k 100,000 mile Hemi Charger PPV? Looking for one in the region and all of them are higher priced. The lowest I have found has been 8500ish and that is 110K or more.

They're somewhat hard to come by, not a lot of departments bought them because they get pretty cramped once you install radios and a computer. Fast and cheap for what you get, though.

They are great, V6 or V8. They don't hold up exceedingly well to serious patrol use though. Get a detective car if you can. The auto in the V6 works pretty well once you figure it out.

All the repair stuff (aside from engine and drivetrain) have to come from Australia too.

This is what concerns me to look for the Chevy and lean more towards the Dodge Charger PPV. The LS has so much potential so cheaply and easily but since the Caprice PPV and related SS come from Australia and neither are big sellers especially compared to the Chargers in police and regular citizen styles the availability and costs of parts and cars make the Dodge seem better in the long run. The Dodge was also a fair amount faster around Grattan during MSP testing and the Lightning lap test at VIR stock to stock.
