My friend just bought one, and he's trying to figure stock size tire.
Any help?
Joey
Funny, I purchased a 1989 80 Quattro yesterday. Stock size for the 80 Quattro is 195/60/14. I'm almost positive that his 90 will have the same size.
I cannot get enough of that 5-cylinder wail.
lmgtfy is just an internet dick move. "You could always check Tire Rack" would work, or you could take 15 seconds and tell him that the stock size is 195/60/14.
<-- loves some 5 cyl goodness :-)
I currently have 185/75/R14 All seasons on some honeycomb rims right now.
I also have 205 50 R15 on some Audi BBS rims (RE-11)

Without a doubt. I get a huge smile every time she visits upper revs. Amazingly solid car, too. My 80 has 202K miles, and makes my Mazda feel like a bucket of bolts.
The factory size may well be written on the body tags. Look for tags on the door jams, the trunk lid or gas cap lid.
Look for the Audi version of this Honda tag..

That's what I was thinking. Maybe it's just a Honda thing, though. I'll assume his owner's manual is long-MIA.
