Yeah, that's a little bit less CRX and a lot more headache than I expected for the money.

So...I just went through one of my old build threads, and I guess the whole HVAC thing was much more of a PITA than I remembered.

IIRC, the faceplate would fail, leaving you with a few separate components. The EG had similar issues. Trying to remember how I dealt with this back in the day.

Aftermarket faceplates with 3m tape are available. I'm also pretty sure that you can swap in another climate control unit from a similar gen accord.
