Hey all.
Given my screen name...
Talking with Lee at Koni, and E21 units will be available in, well, call it a couple months or so.
Front p/n will be 86-1957SPORT, rears will be 80-2330SPORT.
Because of trends in the German market, there's incentive to build them for E12s, E24s, and E21s.
Also because of German market regs/TUV, they'll be the original design, so that new certifications would not be needed. So, adjusting the valving will be old school, but, for those of us wanting a sporty option on our old German iron, bully for us
Cheers.
Maybe this tooling will help unlock the original CRX again. Time for me to poke Lee. It's almost become a running joke...
....I don't need an E24....I don't need an E24.....I don't need an E24....
Dang, now I need another Reseda Green E12
If they'll have shocks for an e24, they should also fit an e28.
In reply to David S. Wallens :
i loved that car, but it drove like crap because the shocks were dead. the only option was more than i was willing to spend, so i sold it with dead shocks. :-(

Bummer. You're right, the color is stunning. Love the wheels, too.
I have wanted, and will continue to want, an E12. Hopefully at some point I will get my hands on one, but between their apparent scarcity and what's happened with E28 prices... Well, we'll see.
But damn, they are good looking cars. Unless they totally shirk the family resemblance behind the wheel to the 2002, E28, and E30, I'm bound to like it.
And I'll put Konis on it ASAP.
In reply to Jesse Ransom :
Upright seating, tall greenhouse, torquey M30B35 (swapped), it was very much like the E28s I've driven.
In reply to Jesse Ransom :
Same, but my main fear is rust.

Could be just the early E24 that's based on the E12.
