So I've got a 2015 Leatt MRX Pro (not the recalled one) and the SFI tag expired last year. I contacted Leatt and they said: "Leatt is not able to recertify the product unless we have validated test results. Since we are no longer manufacturing this product, we do not have current validated test results."

That leaves me with a nice, barely used head and neck restraint that can't be used for any racing series that I participate in. Any ideas what I can do with it?

Ideas that come to mind:

1) Keep it and used it for passengers in the race car.

2) Sell it for whatever I can get on eBay. $100? $200? What's it worth???.

3) Tannerite.

SCCA racing?  They dont have an expiration on HNR devices, only that it has a SFI 38.1 label on it.

I'm pretty sure that none of the main endurance racing check for that, only for visible damage?  I'd have to check the Champ rulebooks, because I'm sure my HANS is way expired then.

How much would you want for it?
