About half way between Atlanta and Greenville, 15 minutes north of Athens. About an extra 15 minutes off of I85 (using different exits). I usually have a self storage unit that you can use, safe with security fence/gate. If all units are full, asphalt pavement. Ok if you need to leave a vehicle/trailer. Usually have a guest room for those of you that are established GRM regulars. If guest room is occupied there's plenty of space to camp with electricity/water and bathroom/kitchen privileges.

Road Atlanta is approx. 75 minutes, Atlanta Dragway about 30 minutes, dirt tracks all over the place. Big Stores in Athens and Commerce about 20 minutes.

I am about 25 minutes off of I-75 at exit 290 (north of Atlanta, south of Chattanooga).

I have a towing capability, a shop, a lift, tools, welder, room to crash, food, and really good beer.

I work on the road a lot, but my wife and neighbors have a key to the shop if I am not there.

This is the Flying J truck stop on Interstate 70.  It's a mile from the new house.

Same full set of hand tools, air tools, mig and flux welding, even plasma cutting if you really berked something up, but with slightly more garage space. Spare couch, and 10 minutes from all the major parts stores.

I still don't have a trailer, but I got AAA if you're close enough.

I've moved across the state from Jamestown to 42.948, -74.196. Now with garage space, an open car trailer and some welding ability.

I'm surprised we haven't heard more stories of this feature coming into play. I know for my roadtrip last year I scoped out the folks along the way. Luckily nothing needed besides a preplanned stop at a friends garage.

Sanford, Florida 32773.  Near 417 and Lake Mary Blvd, my place is about 1 mile from the pin location listed above.

My home shop is pretty well equipt including a lift, engine hoist, welders and a good variety of tools.  That's all well and good, if it's not packed full of projects and Honda parts!  I travel a good bit for work, but can assist even if I'm not currently home.

I also have a guest room to crash in and can give a lift or trailer most vehicles as well.

I thought i was in here already, derp!

Anyways, ASE Master Tech/auto instructor, small shop, can technically do anything although major work isn't free OR fast cheeky

I've had friends from different states buy cars here, bring them to my place, i fix them up and they fly in and drive home later. I can also stash cars for fairly long periods as long as it rolls or shows up on a flatbed.

I just realized I never put myself on this list.

Location is Rochester, NY (on the North side by the lake) at 43°13'24.9"N 77°37'08.9"W

Best contact is by phone or email.  Email address is rob@[lastname].net.  [lastname] is my username minus the first letter.  Phone is two hundred three, 962, thirty-eight seventy-eight

We have a spare bedroom if needed and may at times have an extra car available.  Just be aware, the first couple feet of the driveway are pretty steep and not friendly to overly low cars.  With an appropriate stance crawl, my E38 clears it, but anything lowered more than an inch or 2 likely won't make it without smacking the rocker panels on the sidewalk.

Garage wise, we've got a heated extra-deep 2 car (will fit most vehicles with the Jeep still sideways in the back, if I pull the Jeep out it'll fit a crew cab / long bed pickup with room to spare).  Good assortment of hand tools, some power tools, air compressor, MIG welder, and a good assortment of random spare parts, fluids, etc.
