I remember when that was all going down. Stiggy, the original UK designer had a great idea, but his designs weren't as dialed in as some would like. Every third person here wants to have their own car company, but not only did Warren and company actually walk the talk, but they improved upon the original. My only regret is that they haven't used that as a springboard for a more diverse set of offerings.
Stuart seemed like the sort of guy who had 10 ideas before breakfast and put one into production by dinner. Warren applied SCIENCE and ENGINERDING to the idea and made a very good little vehicle, albeit with a few quirks that got carried over like a lack of rear wheel clearance and some oddly placed upper shock mounts that were originally intended to lower a car using stock suspension parts. By doing so, he really did a number on the Locost community :)
Warren is no longer with Exomotive so they don't have a lot of design capability anymore. I know he did keep working on a C5-based variant, I'm not sure where that is right now but his real job gets in the way. Kevin did a fantastic job of balancing expansion with production so he didn't fall into the usual kit car traps.
I love my Exocet race chassis. What happened to the electrocet or C5 vettecet? It would be nice if they could expand offerings like factory five did over the years. Hope Exomotive is still doing well.

The Electrocet got dismantled when it's builder moved across the country...to go work with Warren at a new car company. I helped scrap it :) That thing was spooky fast like a Tesla, but with half the weight and no windshield.
