Replacing pads and rotors on a 1993 Miata. The driver's side rear caliper is not cooperating. I can't retract the piston far enough to fit over the new pads. I backed out the adjustment screw until the piston stopped moving. I took the cap off the master cylinder and tried to use a clamp to squeeze the caliper cylinder in. It doesn't seem to be moving at all. Any suggestions, short of pulling off the caliper and working it on the bench? I'd rather not go that route if I can avoid it.
