I am sorry Wheels....

Yesterday june 26 there was a car show here on IL called Mopars in the park. We also got the shelby club that showed up with thier club also to the show and I was the Photo guy of the day for the main club, The Chiago Mopar Connation. I was talking to the the clubs memebers of the shelby club and two members of Team Mini-me where there(they where very cool). Someone made a comment about a car for sale and we where talking about the challange at the time and I made the comment about Mini-me needed to look into picking it to beat Andy's long reining tital of master of the 1/4 mile....I made the comment and both memebfr looked at each other and you could see the wheels turning and I made the comment there was not much time to get it done... So Andy, if you get beat this year by team Mini-me with something that is not a dodge, its all my fault for giving them the bad idea.....I will not say anything if they follow up the idea and leave it to them for this little project idea..... P.S. I will post pics off all the very cool mopars that where in the show and lot and lots of FWD mopars for the win later this week.

Sounds like he's apologizing to Andy for telling Team Mini-Me to buy a car that is not a GLH of some sort, that will supposedly beat Andy at the quarter mile at Challenge this year.

You say that in jest, but you have the car and the parts sitting there to do just that!

i ran into members of team mini me this weekend here in the chi-town area and while we where talking someone made a comment about a car...i said they should look into it and get it for the chllange to beat andy this year. i was not sure how to start the tread about running into them so thats why i posted it this way.

The Nelsons build amazing cars. I don't know if it is possible to start this late and build something that can keep up with them.

Donate me a B2200 and i'll keep up with him in the quarter at least.

And then bomb horribly in the concours and the autox, placing far far far below him. Which means he still wins. HRM. Funny how that works.

jeez.......tough crowd. And I thought we had a bit of civility here.

I'm eager to see what the Mini-Me guys bring. There is no lack of talent or ingenuity in that bunch! I'm not sure if anyone can overthrow the Nelson's as kings of the 1/4 mile though. Many have tried........
