Might post up pics later but I'm pretty excited about this. Just got a one owner, rust free, meticulously maintained NC2 Miata in my garage right now. As I sat into it to move it into my garage, it oddly felt a lot like an RX8 I co-drove in autocross last year. Definitely a lot more spacious and daily liveable. It's an OEM+ build right now (basically bone stock with the Bilsteins/LSD, just has Flyin Miata Springs/some Sway Bars). Any other weaknesses of the car I should know about other than the coolant tank? I hear people install restrictors on the power steering for this because they fluid apparently runs hot.
EDIT: Pics are up.
Cool and congrats. What color did you get? And pics, please? :)

Nothing odd about that. They are almost the same car underneath. NC's are a compelling value right now. Sounds like a great daily driver!
But yes, pics please
I've been looking at these a bit as well.
Just posted up two quick pictures. It's competition yellow (apparently 1 of 315 made!)
Wow, that's a great looking color! Works perfectly with the wheels too. Nice buy.

I love it. Honestly this car is almost too perfect. I'm afraid I might just leave it in my garage LOL.

Love that color. Eventually I may break down and get a NC for a daily.

While I do fit in the NB Miata just fine, I can feel the spaciousness of the NC so give it a try!

My favorite NC color!
NC2/3s are fantastic cars. Congrats!
Swap those Bilsteins out for Konis and you're pretty much done, suspension wise, for a street car. Had Progress springs/ stock Bilsteins on ours, and swapped to Koni/FM springs which were a huge improvement.
Apparently Mazda filled the front chassis rails with cardboard for some kansei reason (probably wrong word) and this leads to rust issues where the front of the car falls off.

I thought they were engineered to very strict maritime standards?
