No Miata for me either, although not for lack of wanting.

Edit: Actually, I've owned two cars built in the US. The M Coupe and Honda Element. Both might have more American content than, say, a Fiesta.
A v8 powered car
A flat 6 powered car
Anything that came from the factory as a two-seater
Toyota/Lexus or Nissan/Infiniti
Crammit/Firebird
Mustang
Damn. I'm boring.
Anything four wheel drive.
An Italian, Eastern Blok, or French car.
3 series BMW
Lotus Europa
Formula car
A hybrid.
Anything aircooled.
Anything that could be considered plain vanilla and economical: ie- Toyota Camry.
BMW, Benz, anything very fast.
A pony car.
A Miata.
Any BMW.
A bulldozer.
A CAMERO!
Anything boosted. Or Swedish. Or a "luxury car (my 82 Eldorado don't count). Or something that left the factory with a spoiler.
I also haven owned a mustang, camaro, or ford truck.
57 cars for me so far. Not many vehicular experiences that im missing.
Out of 130+ cars in the last 40 years, I've also never owned a Miata. A bunch of LBCs and a few Fiats, but no Miata. Or Camry or Accord. Or Aston Martin. Yet.
Never owned a pickup truck, or a V8.
I've never owned anything with a V6
I need a french car to finish my trifecta of crap (italian, english, and french) but I will admit I have never owned a Japanese car and the only American car I ever had was given to me.. so I really do not consider that a car I "owned" as I did not (would not have) chosen that car for myself.
- 'Road Legal' import, having owned a previously rolled total loss lancer (purchased to help my sister) and a BMW that I never drove (various issues, glaringly being the lack of a driveshaft) I think to own and drive an import would be fun.
- Something with factory forced induction.
- a 'car' less than 5 years old.
Never owned a:
Honda automobile (I've had a few of their bikes)
Lowered pickup (why lower a pickup? I don't understand the concept)
Ferrari (was close to buying a 308 when they were cheap......looks like a Mondial or nothing these days)
Porsche (although I've been eyeing 914s)
Lotus (one day an Elise will be mine!)
Schoolbus / RV--- I've figure-8 raced a schoolbus but never owned one a big RV would fit the bill too
Think I am approaching around 50 cars now and I've still never owned:
- a reliable car that I didn't have to work on regularly
- a car less than a decade old
There's probably more than a bit of correlation between those. It may be time to cave and finally buy a non-project car.
Based on # of cylinders and the drive wheels I think I have all but.
Front wheel drive V8. Rear mounted V-8 rear drive.

OT, but... Because they look better to me, and can still do the job of being a pickup. Though with classic trucks and minitrucks, there isn't much I'd want to do with them as trucks anyhow. I've built a few dozen lowered minitrucks and a couple lowered classic full sizers and they still got used as trucks, carrying stuff in the beds. I don't see offroading as need for a truck (If I go offroading it'll be in a specialized vehicle, like a Baja bug or a Jeep).
I see more use for a lowered truck on the street than a brodozer that never goes offroad... ;)
