Obviously the ideal track cars are usually ones that are light but lately I have been noticing larger cars doing work at track/auto x events. Post up some pics of your big girls in action! Here are a few pics of mine

These always looked big, but I've never seen one in the flesh.

While not really a track, I used to run a 92 Crown Vic in rallycross. I'll probably take my Audi S6 out for an autocross or two this summer.

Not my pic. I remember watching a video of a race where a Galaxy and a Mini were doing battle on a smallish looking road course and that led me to google "Ford Galaxy Austin Mini" and that led to this photo. Not a photo from the video clip in question, but with the Mini in the background it emphasizes the Galaxy's bigness.

Races like the Silver State Challenge features some big girls who are very fast.

You don't see the STS-V on track though...

2.73 gears meant I could just stick it in 1st gear and leave it there for autocross. I was getting consistent mid-pack times with it. more or less bone stock with some wheel spacers and 17x8 cobra wheels. tires were just some cheapo cooper performance all seasons.

Here's my 94 Supercoupe at the 2008 Dixie NT

Video of a run last December on the same set of A6s in the above pic. I didn't have a ton of grip.

What do you have done to your V? How do you like it?

Not sure if this is the video you were thinking of but there is some footage of 63 Ford full size cars mixing it up with the Cortina's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWp-0TuY4Sk

He raced in the Trans AM Series and these cars ran in that series for a few years. They introduced the Turbo Era there or at least forced many other car Manufacturers to race turbo cars. These cars however look like the ones that ran in IMSA GTO and not Trans Am. The wide tires & wheels and the rear wings give it away.

It had some basic bolt-ons--you can read the description in my garage. It was a fun car, but I sold it a couple years back. Mechanically it was a bit of a disappointment, and it was the slowest of the three cars pictured. I didn't need 3 big cars, so that was the one I decided to sell (that it also had the highest resale value was a factor).
