In reply to Cooter (Thanks for stifling conversation and creativity on this already shrinking forum.) :

I quite like the symmetrical livery myself.

How about symmetrically asymmetrical?

Also was the winning livery crayoned by a 6 year old.

I'd think that designing something asymmetric would be a bit more challenging since you have to picture how it all goes together.

Also, to me, this just works:

Might as well add a gif to this thread to compliment all the memes! LOL

Being a fan of modern art, I dig this look, car is currently on BaT.

Serious vibes of Piet Mondrian.

Too many modern liveries obliterate the car's lines under a ton of random visual noise, but that one absolutely does not.  It's very clean and effective without being simplistic.

I really don't like a lot of the GT liveries from the last 20 years or so because of that.

Something else that works well here: At first glance, you know that it's a BMW supported by Hankook.

I actually still consider the hankook BMW to be symmetric though. It's not in the traditional X axis, bit if you rotate the axis roughly 45 degrees, it still is. The design itself is still symmetric, it's merely it's orientation and presentation on the vehicle that is not.
