Logbook Value

Hi All- I'm brand new to this forum. My father's old SCCA MG Midget race car was purchased by someone. I have the full logbooks to that car. Should I sell them to the new owner? What are they worth? Mark

I found one from my Datsun 1200 and had a ton of fun tracking down the new owner to give it to him. I'd sold it with two books not realizing there were three. It was great to get it back to him.

They're worth something to the current owner of the car and nothing to anyone else except maybe you if they have sentimental value.  I may be in the minority here but offering to sell them to the current owner seems kind of opportunistic.  Personally I'd give 'em to them.

They should go with the car, I would give them to the new owner.

Thanks, Chandler! That's cool. I think I'll let the new owner just have them. I took pictures of the logs and can save those.
