You may have noticed that unlike all previous months, you weren't automatically logged out on the first of the month yesterday.
Why? Directly because of the members who've become GRM Forum Supporters on our Patreon page, we were able to hire new developers who have now started implementing upgrades on the website. One of the first publicly-visible changes is this one!
Thank you, Forum Supporters! There's more where that came from. 
It scared and confused me
I was braced to try and remember my password (I forget it every freaking month and inevitably have to reset it) and then was pleasantly surprised to find myself still logged in.
Pretty cool to see investments being made in the forum.
How have I never noticed that I am automatically logged out?

Is the forum going to be ready for Y2K?
I always log out after posting, didn't know staying logged in all the time was a thing. Sounds convenient, but sort of a security risk.

I always log off when I'm done. Last thing I want is someone at work picking up my phone and posting something stuipd or imflammatory under my name...
Now get them to make it so the forum remembers where & what we viewed so we can jump right back to the spot we left off instead of having to scroll through an unknown number of pages to find the new stuff and lose interest before we find it. Like almost every other forum in the world
