Anyone have any experience repairing Nylon Fuel Line?  The leak is somewhere in the line between exiting the engine bay and coming out of the frame rail near the driver's floor board.  1995 Buick Roadmaster, LT1 V8.  While searching Rock Auto, I found this Dorman repair item #800059.  It has a barbed section.

That got me thinking and looking into just replacing the leaking section. Have any of you guys used this repair tool:

Is it possible to just repair the line?  Can it be done with out this tool ?

Or how about this line to line connector ?

I'm sort of dubious about putting 60 psi gasoline through one of those "shark bite" fittings.

If I had a leak in a nylon line like that, I'd use the Dorman fittings that adapt the quick disconnects to barbs, put one of them on each end, and use high quality fuel-injection rated rubber hose and hose clamps in between.
