Apparently someone asked Subaru to make car-themed coloring pages so car enthusiasts could keep their kids occupied during quarantine. This is what the good people of Subaru HQ came up with:

Seriously. WTF.

And Nissan

and Mazda

although it seems like Mazda is the only one that seems to understand how to make a kids' coloring book.

Exactly. BTW, this was Denso (Toyota subsidiary and parts maker)'s equally insane entry. They literally want you to color in a QR code. If you do a good job, you can scan it on your mobile phone.

Tesla also has coloring books, but you get them in paper form from your friendly neighborhood Tesla tech. Or you  find them on Imgur.

This is the new thing during The Current Unpleasantness. Some of the companies are definitely trying harder than others. I've seen some that were obviously just a quickly applied Illustrator trace or Photoshop filter (hello Mercedes). Others are much better. And the Subaru ones made me laugh.

Who's got a list?

Mazda, Nissan and Subaru we've seen already here.

Mercedes

Ian Callum (aka Aston Martin)

Audi (at least three books)

Ford

Chevy

Morgan (!)

It's smart. They are pulling one from the Disney playbook. Give the children fond memories, and, when grown up, they will empty their wallets for nostalgia.

When I was a little kid I would have been nuttso for the Morgan one.

Is there a link to the Subaru one?  Google search didn't turn up anything like the pic above.

In reply to NorseDave :

They're from Subaru's Twitter Account. They have normal ones too, thankfully.
