Cali- well....it may help but decay combined with mouse whizz and poop is a tall order for something with no fragrance...the Odoban concentrate that Curtis posted above is probably a better choice. Clean out as much if the leftover bedding and crap as you can first and wear gloves and stuff. Mice carry all kinds of nasty crap.
Never heard the granny Smith thing. That's interesting. Might have to do some testing on that.
